2021 details:

Whitehaven Coal will be running courtesy buses to and from Kurrumbede for the Inaugural Open Day on Saturday 12th of June. Hosted by the Dorothea Mackellar Memorial Society. Buses will commence running at 10am from the Mackellar Centre, Gunnedah (old Visitor Information Centre across from town pool in Anzac Park.) Please join us for a day of fun and Edwardian frivolity at the former Mackellar family homestead. Entry is free.

Activities on the day include:

• Guided tours
• Stilt-walking
• Sulky rides
• Shearing demonstrations
• Photo booth
• Prizes for best Edwardian costume
• Poetry recitals
• Food stalls, including BBQ, sandwiches, coffee van, sweet treats, plus more!

You are welcome to bring a chair and picnic rug together with a picnic basket if you wish.
